Key Responsibilities
* Spearhead electromechanical operations, including planning, design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for residential and commercial buildings.
* Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electromechanical equipment, such as HT & LT panels, transformers, and diesel generators.
* Drive the safe operation and load distribution of HT & LT switchgears, BBT installations, and other electromechanical systems.
* Utilize AutoCAD software to create, study, and modify electrical designs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
* Develop and manage budgets, bills of quantities, and cost analyses for electromechanical projects, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
* Apply expertise in electrical load calculation, material selection, and load distribution systems to ensure safety and efficiency in multipurpose buildings.
* Interpret and work with electrical drawings, circuit diagrams, and fire protection systems, adhering to relevant standards and codes (BNBC, NEC, IEC, NFPA).
* Design, install, and maintain IT-related systems, including CCTV, PABX, PA systems, and satellite TV.
* Manage the installation and maintenance of water pumps and deep tube-wells, ensuring reliable operation and water distribution.
* Lead and coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and technicians to achieve project goals.
* Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to select the best products and materials, meeting required specifications and standards.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including estimates, budgets, log books, and work orders.
* Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations for all electromechanical work.
* Foster effective communication and coordination with management, colleagues, projects, suppliers, subordinates, and contractors.
* Identify and report electromechanical defects and issues to seniors, facilitating prompt resolution.
* Liaise with external offices, such as DESCO, DPDC, BREB, WASA, and Fire Service & Civil Defense Office, to facilitate project requirements.
* Provide 24/7 support for emergency situations, demonstrating a flexible and responsive work mentality.
* Work effectively in both project/site and office environments, adapting to changing priorities and demands.
* Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management, demonstrating a proactive and collaborative approach.
