* Spearhead the management of import and local purchase operations, ensuring timely utilization of government incentives. * Architect and execute L/C-related activities, including correspondence with exporters, L/C opening, and amendments. * Drive the shipment monitoring process, ensuring seamless document retirement from banks and efficient clearing of goods from ports. * Stay up-to-date on customs rules, import policies, SROs, and relevant web portals, leveraging knowledge to optimize import operations. * Develop and maintain a centralized document management system for import and export records. * Foster proactive relationships with local and foreign suppliers, ensuring timely supply and shipment of goods. * Lead advance correspondence with suppliers to guarantee on-time availability of required goods in the warehouse. * Adapt to evolving business needs, taking on additional responsibilities as assigned by Management to drive business growth and success.
