Key Responsibilities
* Drive the implementation of high-quality academic curricula across Middle and Senior School, ensuring alignment with the British Curriculum and Islamic values.
* Architect and oversee quality assurance processes, monitoring lesson planning, classroom delivery, and academic standards to maintain excellence.
* Lead teacher development and performance management, providing mentoring and coaching to enhance professional growth and student outcomes.
* Manage and optimize student assessment systems, examinations, grading, and reporting to ensure accuracy and transparency.
* Foster a culture of discipline and professionalism in the classroom, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Coordinate academic events, meetings, and institutional activities, ensuring seamless planning and execution.
* Integrate Islamic values and Tarbiyah into the academic environment, promoting a holistic approach to education.
* Conduct regular classroom observations, providing constructive feedback to teachers to inform instruction and improve student outcomes.
* Collaborate with Section Heads, Subject Leaders, and the Head of School to drive academic initiatives and inform institutional decision-making.
* Champion the implementation of Management decisions, ensuring effective execution and minimal disruption to academic operations.
* Innovate and lead academic initiatives, driving institutional excellence and continuous improvement in the pursuit of academic distinction.
Requirements
Experience
At least 12 years
Skills
Strong capability in short-term and long-term academic planningExcellent communication, leadership, and organisational skillsSound knowledge of Cambridge / Pearson Edexcel curriculum frameworksExperience in teacher mentoring, classroom observation, and teacher trainingAbility to maintain academic discipline and educational standardsStrong understanding of student development, parent communication, and school operationsCommitment to Islamic values, professionalism, and institutional excellenceHigh proficiency in spoken and written English
Education
- Masters
- Master’s degree from a recognised university
