Key Responsibilities

* Drive the development of children and youth by providing tailored support to achieve individual goals through education and skill training, fostering a nurturing environment that promotes growth and empowerment. * Craft compelling child and village sponsorship materials, including letters, videos, and photos, that showcase the stories and progress of the children and youth, utilizing storytelling techniques to inspire and engage stakeholders. * Spearhead the creation of sponsorship-related content, including child departure texts, to ensure seamless communication and updates on the children's journeys. * Empower youth to reach their full potential by encouraging enrollment in employable education, identifying suitable technical courses, and promoting life skills, leadership qualities, and healthy recreational activities. * Ensure the smooth operation of the facility, adhering to the Children's Village Programme Regulations, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment that prioritizes child and youth safeguarding and rights. * Design and deliver counseling, training, and workshops that cater to the needs of youth and co-workers, promoting personal growth, development, and well-being. * Foster strong, long-term relationships with youth, providing guidance and support to help them become responsible and modest individuals. * Develop and implement strategies to promote academic excellence, including assessing strengths, identifying suitable educational institutions, and providing tutorial support, to ensure the youth achieve their full academic potential. * Organize structured sports, games, and recreational activities that promote physical and emotional well-being, teamwork, and social skills. * Engage with youth in the Youth House and community, participating in activities that promote socialization, leadership, and community involvement. * Uphold the organization's Child and Youth Safeguarding Policy, Code of Conduct, and Sexual Misconduct Regulation (PSHEA), ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all. * Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to the organization's mission and values.

Requirements

Experience

1 to 5 years

Skills

Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation skillsAbility to produce high-quality analytical reportsAdequate knowledge and skills in computer applications, especially MS Office packages & ICTGood command of the English language (both written and spoken)

Education

  • Bachelor degree in any discipline
  • Preferably in Social Science / Sociology

Additional Requirements

  • 1 to 5 years’ experience of working with the children and youth groups
  • Have knowledge of child rights & and protection issues and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC)
  • Having strong leadership qualities with excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to produce high-quality analytical reports and facilitate discussions at national and international levels
  • Adequate knowledge and skills in computer applications, especially MS Office packages & ICT and flexible to work in software
  • Candidates should have a good command of the English language (both written and spoken)

Compensation & Benefits

Residential: BDT 25,000 to BDT 30,000 along with single accommodationNon-Residential: BDT 30,000 to BDT 35,000
