Officer - Wastage Management

* Drive waste management operations by collecting and transporting production waste to the central waste yard, ensuring a clean and efficient factory environment. * Architect a sorting system to categorize waste into fabric, plastic, paper, metal, and glass, maximizing recovery value from every reject. * Operate and maintain baling machinery to compact soft waste, optimizing storage and transportation processes. * Lead the labeling and documentation process, attaching color-coded labels with weight and category to each bale, and maintaining accurate records. * Collaborate with the logistics team to load scrap onto buyer vehicles, ensuring timely and secure dispatch. * Manage the waste storage area, performing daily cleaning and disinfection to maintain a safe and healthy environment. * Identify and report potential hazards, including sharp or chemical waste, to the Senior Officer, prioritizing team safety and well-being. * Develop and maintain a shift-based log to track bale production, providing insights for process improvements. * Champion safety protocols, adhering to PPE and safety rules during waste handling operations. * Support the monthly physical inventory of waste stock, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
