Senior Officer - Wastage Management

* Spearhead daily waste collection operations, ensuring seamless execution across all floors and departments to drive cost savings and maximize scrap recovery. * Architect and enforce a rigorous waste segregation process, categorizing waste into 6+ categories in accordance with established SOPs. * Drive accurate data collection by operating and maintaining weighing scales, recording net weights, and tracking waste movement. * Foster strategic partnerships with buyers to facilitate timely scrap lifting and payment receipt, ensuring efficient transaction processing. * Develop and maintain a comprehensive daily waste movement register, complete with photographic documentation. * Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with cross-contamination of hazardous and general waste, ensuring a safe working environment. * Empower helper staff through targeted training on the safe handling of hazardous materials, including sharp and chemical waste. * Oversee storage area maintenance, ensuring weekly cleanliness and pest control checks to uphold high standards. * Compile and present daily waste summary reports to senior management, providing actionable insights for informed decision-making. * Collaborate with internal and external auditors, supporting physical counts and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
