Assistant Manager - Wastage Management

* Drive waste reduction initiatives to minimize production waste, maximize scrap recovery value, and ensure environmentally responsible disposal of hazardous materials. * Analyze daily production waste by category to identify trends and areas for improvement. * Lead root cause analysis to address waste spikes, implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. * Negotiate with authorized buyers to secure the highest possible recovery value for recyclable scrap. * Manage the disposal of hazardous waste through approved vendors, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. * Maintain accurate records of waste management activities, including manifests, weight slips, and sales records. * Educate production teams on effective waste segregation techniques to minimize waste at source. * Identify opportunities for reuse and recycling, reducing the amount of waste sent to landfills. * Develop and deliver monthly wastage reports, highlighting financial impacts and areas for cost savings. * Collaborate with the ETP team to optimize sludge drying and weight reduction processes. * Benchmark waste management performance against industry best practices in Bangladesh, identifying opportunities for improvement. * Architect and implement policies and standard operating procedures to guide waste management activities.
