* Drive financial compliance and reporting across the group companies by maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including books of accounts, ledgers, and vouchers. * Architect and implement effective tax strategies, handling income tax, VAT, TDS, AIT, and related compliance matters to minimize risk and optimize benefits. * Lead the preparation and submission of VAT returns, tax schedules, and supporting documents, ensuring timely and accurate filing. * Foster strong relationships with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities, coordinating with them to ensure seamless audit and compliance processes. * Manage the audit process, providing support during statutory audits, tax assessments, VAT audits, and bank audits to ensure successful outcomes. * Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for import, export, LC, shipping, and commercial transactions, ensuring transparency and accountability. * Analyze and reconcile financial data, preparing bank reconciliations, supplier and customer reconciliations, and financial schedules to inform business decisions. * Facilitate international trade operations by supporting LC opening, retirement, commercial documentation, and payment follow-up with banks. * Create insightful financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports, providing actionable intelligence to drive business growth. * Design and implement effective document management systems, ensuring proper filing and archiving of commercial and financial documents. * Collaborate with internal departments to provide operational and accounting support, driving business efficiency and excellence. * Drive special projects and initiatives, performing additional finance and accounts-related duties as assigned by management to support the company's strategic objectives.
