* Spearhead credit management by setting and reviewing customer credit limits to minimize risk * Drive credit sales growth by approving or rejecting credit requests and leading collection strategies * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, to optimize credit operations and reduce bad debts * Develop and execute effective payment collection plans, leveraging calls, emails, and visits to ensure timely payments * Monitor and enforce customer credit limits, tracking payment commitments and identifying high-risk accounts * Reconcile customer ledgers, resolve payment discrepancies, and investigate mismatches between invoices and payments * Foster strong relationships with banks, accounts teams, and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless payment processing * Prepare and submit comprehensive reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly collection and aging reports * Ensure strict adherence to company credit policies and procedures, maintaining accurate documentation and records * Manage general accounts, including petty cash, bank records, and journal postings, with expertise in accounting software * Analyze financial data to prepare cash flow statements, profit and loss accounts, and balance sheets for management review * Communicate with banks and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and facilitate financial operations * Compile monthly accounts and prepare cash flow statements for various units, driving business growth and informed decision-making
