Medical Officer

* Drive the implementation of TB control and prevention services, strengthening the government health system and promoting ownership and stewardship. * Collaborate with the National TB Programme to ensure long-term sustainability and coordinated planning for key program activities. * Support the implementation of national guidelines and standard operating procedures for TB control, including TB/HIV and high-risk population services. * Optimize resource utilization and ensure smooth program implementation under the National TB Programme's leadership. * Conduct extensive field visits to monitor and supervise TB program implementation, analyzing data and reviewing progress with field staff. * Identify training needs and provide support to ensure concerned staff receive necessary training. * Provide technical support to ensure anti-TB treatment adherence to National TB Programme guidelines, including Directly Observed Treatment. * Supervise and support accurate patient recording and information updating to improve case detection and treatment success. * Facilitate referrals of presumptive and complicated cases to designated facilities for further diagnosis and management. * Lead monthly and quarterly staff meetings to review progress and develop action plans for program improvement. * Coordinate with government and field staff to ensure the availability of anti-TB drugs and other essential supplies. * Develop and implement action plans based on previous findings and reports. * Foster regular coordination with government, BRAC, and other stakeholders to implement TB control activities. * Monitor project activities, supervise supervisory staff, and provide technical assistance through regular field visits. * Ensure quality assurance and surveillance systems are in place, conducting contract investigations to strengthen case findings. * Deliver timely, accurate, and complete reports as per agreements, and provide additional reports to BRAC and the National TB Programme as needed. * Architect and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including government, BRAC, and field staff, to drive program success. * Manage and analyze data to inform program decisions and drive improvements in TB control and prevention services.
