Project Engineer (ELECTRICAL–SUBSTATION)

* Spearhead the development of comprehensive electrical drawings, including SLD, GA, and layout designs for substation systems, ensuring seamless project execution. * Drive compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and project timelines by reviewing and verifying design and material accuracy. * Architect and review technical specifications, BOQ, drawings, and compliance requirements to ensure alignment with project objectives. * Oversee procurement processes to guarantee alignment with approved materials and project specifications, identifying and addressing deviations and non-compliance issues. * Lead the sourcing of substation equipment, including 11/0.4 kV substation systems, dry type transformers, diesel generators, and HT/LT switchgear, to meet project requirements. * Develop and manage technical comparison statements to evaluate vendor and supplier submissions, ensuring informed decision-making. * Collaborate with vendors to clarify technical aspects, align with compliance requirements, and review datasheets, catalogues, and technical submittals. * Facilitate the preparation of material approval submissions to consultants and clients, maintaining accurate records and documentation. * Ensure adherence to project requirements, supervising the installation, testing, and commissioning of 11/0.4 kV substations, dry type transformers, and diesel generator systems. * Manage and coordinate the installation, testing, and commissioning of up to 4 MVA dry type transformers and up to 3 MVA diesel generator systems, including synchronization and load testing activities. * Generate site progress reports and project documentation, providing timely updates and insights to stakeholders.
