Executive- Supply Chain (Transport)

* Spearhead logistics operations by coordinating the transportation of raw materials, trims, accessories, and finished goods to ensure seamless supply chain management. * Architect transportation plans, arranging vehicles for factory deliveries, inter-unit transfers, and shipment activities to meet production and shipment schedules. * Foster strategic partnerships with transport vendors, freight providers, and logistics partners through effective communication and negotiation. * Drive timely delivery and dispatch by monitoring transport status, resolving transportation-related delays, and implementing corrective actions. * Manage logistics documentation, including transport records, delivery challans, gate passes, and other relevant papers to ensure compliance and transparency. * Analyze transportation costs and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize logistics expenses and improve operational efficiency. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Store, Planning, Production, and MCD departments, to align logistics operations with business objectives. * Ensure compliant and efficient loading/unloading operations, as well as delivery coordination, to maintain high service standards. * Monitor vehicle utilization, transport service efficiency, and logistics performance to identify areas for improvement. * Develop and maintain transport MIS reports and daily logistics updates to inform business decisions and drive process enhancements. * Support shipment planning, export/import logistics coordination, and other specialized logistics activities to facilitate business growth. * Uphold company transport policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements to minimize risk and ensure a safe working environment. * Provide emergency transport support and handle urgent deliveries to meet critical business needs. * Cultivate strong relationships with transport vendors, stakeholders, and partners to build a robust logistics network and drive long-term success.
