Key Responsibilities

* Spearhead project planning and implementation, driving the development of annual and quarterly work plans that align with project objectives and Heifer's program framework. * Collaborate with the Project Coordinator to architect activity-level implementation plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring seamless execution of market development, cooperative support, and value chain strengthening initiatives. * Drive the timely execution of planned activities in the target districts, fostering close coordination with the Cooperative PMC, project team, and Heifer International Bangladesh's team to facilitate community collective activities. * Identify and address implementation gaps, proposing adaptive measures to ensure project milestones are achieved effectively and efficiently. * Lead regular field visits to monitor progress, detect challenges, and provide technical guidance to cooperative members, informing data-driven decisions to optimize project outcomes. * Manage stakeholder relationships, maintaining open communication channels with key partners, including Heifer International Bangladesh, to ensure collaborative project delivery. * Participate in project review meetings, planning workshops, and learning events, contributing to the continuous improvement of project strategies and outcomes. * Develop and implement market development strategies, supporting the growth of climate-resilient livelihoods for smallholder women farmers in the target districts.

Education

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Agriculture
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Management
  • Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) in Economics
  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture / Marketing / Agribusiness/ Management / Agricultural Economics / Rural Development / Social Science/ BBA

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of practical field experience in agricultural market development
  • Demonstrable experience in working with smallholder farmers, SHGs, and/or cooperatives
  • Experience in establishing market linkages, buyer relationships, and supply chain management for agricultural produce
  • Prior experience working Stakeholder, privet sector engagement, Partnership Management
  • Strong knowledge of Exports activities/chain is an advantage
  • Experience working in projects funded by international donors will be preferred
  • Community Mobilization, cooperative development, and rural finance
