Key Responsibilities
* Drive the planning, implementation, and supervision of the Rohingya Response and National Resilience Program, ensuring timely, within-budget, and high-quality delivery of project activities.
* Architect detailed implementation plans, procurement plans, and field monitoring plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives.
* Lead the delivery of project activities, including Rohingya response, national resilience, community engagement, and livelihood support, ensuring alignment with donor requirements, organizational policies, and humanitarian principles.
* Manage field-level implementation, ensuring activities address the needs of vulnerable groups, including women, girls, men, boys, persons with disabilities, and the elderly.
* Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and community engagement, ensuring all project activities adhere to humanitarian principles, conflict sensitivity, and gender equality standards.
* Identify and mitigate operational risks, implementation gaps, and field-level challenges, developing corrective measures in consultation with senior management.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive project records, including activity reports, participant lists, case stories, and meeting minutes.
* Collaborate with senior management to develop and refine project tools, guidelines, and operational procedures, ensuring effective use of project resources.
* Spearhead team management and capacity building, providing day-to-day supervision, guidance, and support to project staff, field facilitators, and community volunteers.
* Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular team meetings, and facilitate field debriefings to ensure high-performing teams and exceptional program delivery.
* Cultivate effective partnerships with government authorities, UN agencies, NGOs, INGOs, and community stakeholders to leverage resources, expertise, and support for program objectives.
* Drive program quality, accountability, and resilience outcomes, ensuring the project responds to the evolving needs of Rohingya refugees and host communities.
Requirements
Experience
At least 5 years
Skills
Proficiency in MS Office applicationsAbility to use online communication and reporting platformsAbility to prepare clear activity plans, budgets, trackers, dashboards and presentation materialsFluency in Chittagonian dialectAbility to communicate with Rohingya community members
Education
- Masters
- Master’s Degree in Law (bar Council certificate)
Additional Requirements
- Proven experience in project planning, implementation, budget management, reporting, team supervision and stakeholder coordination.
- Strong understanding of Rohingya refugee response, host community context, protection, resilience, DRR, livelihoods, gender equality and community-based programming.
- Excellent writing, reporting and communication skills in Bangla and English.
- Demonstrable organizational, leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong teamwork and accountability.
- Ability to work compassionately and effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, including vulnerable communities and people facing language barriers.
