Legal Officer

* Drive program implementation by collaborating with key stakeholders, including Union Parishad Chairman and Members, to deliver high-quality support services to GBV survivors in host communities. * Foster strategic partnerships with local actors, government representatives, and like-minded organizations to ensure coordinated and effective service delivery. * Provide expert legal counseling to survivors and their families, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to GBV guidelines. * Lead fact-finding missions, gathering critical information while upholding the highest standards of discretion and sensitivity. * Architect and deliver legal training, meetings, and workshops, promoting awareness and education among target communities. * Facilitate mediation sessions, supported by relevant authorities, to resolve disputes and promote peaceful resolution. * Manage a dynamic caseload, ensuring survivors receive need-based medical and legal support, and coordinate with panel lawyers, OCC, and other legal agencies to drive effective outcomes. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including police stations, IRC teams, Pulse BD, and other like-minded organizations, to advance program objectives. * Design and deliver legal awareness sessions, leveraging expertise to empower survivors and promote justice. * Drive reporting and documentation, preparing weekly, monthly, and periodic reports to inform program management and donor engagement. * Contribute to the development of the Paralegal Team, enhancing the quality and substance of assigned legal programs and services. * Represent the organization in speaking engagements, promoting the profile and reputation of the legal program among stakeholders and the donor community. * Deliver high-quality legal services, including information sessions and assistance, to clients, and prepare reports for project managers and donors as required.
