Key Responsibilities

* Drive community-based protection mechanisms to ensure vulnerable individuals receive timely guidance, access to services, and support. * Lead the formation and activation of community groups, including Community-Based Child Protection Committees and adolescent clubs, to enhance participation in child protection and social activities. * Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Social Welfare Officers, Union Social Workers, and local government representatives, to facilitate collaborative case management. * Support the development and implementation of case management processes at community and institutional levels, ensuring effective referrals and coordinated support services. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Women Protection and Empowerment, Economic Recovery and Development, and Protection Rule of Law, to design activities addressing the needs of adolescents and vulnerable groups. * Architect and maintain detailed work plans, ensuring timely implementation of project activities and conducting regular field visits to monitor progress and identify new cases. * Manage emergency case management situations, providing immediate support to survivors and high-risk individuals, and analyze community situations to propose practical initiatives for adolescents and children. * Organize and facilitate community meetings, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly meetings with Community-Based Child Protection Committees and adolescent clubs, to promote community engagement and participation. * Educate community members about child rights, available services, and referral pathways, and promote safe, inclusive, and community-led approaches to protection and service access. * Coordinate with local authorities, NGOs, and service providers to ensure effective child protection responses and representation, and drive community participation in awareness-raising activities.

Requirements

Experience

At least 2 years

Skills

MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPointCase management software or databasesFluency in BanglaKnowledge of the Chittagonian dialect

Education

  • Bachelor/Honors
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline

Additional Requirements

  • Strong understanding of child protection, case management, referral pathways, and community mobilization
  • Ability to work with government departments, community structures, and service providers
  • Good knowledge of protection principles, confidentiality, survivor-centered approaches, and safeguarding standards
  • Ability to provide immediate support in emergency protection situations
  • Skills in organizing meetings, community sessions, awareness activities, and field-level coordination
  • Knowledge of IPT theater show conduction is an added advantage
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Respect for confidentiality and professional ethics
  • Ability to work with children, adolescents, families, and vulnerable people with sensitivity
  • Strong teamwork and coordination skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to urgent cases
