Assistant Engineer- Electrical (Internal Audit)

* Spearhead comprehensive audits of electrical systems and infrastructure across multiple business units, sites, and projects to ensure compliance and optimal performance. * Drive adherence to electrical codes, safety standards, and maintenance schedules through meticulous verification and monitoring. * Architect audit plans and technical checklists to inform engineering-focused audits and guarantee thorough assessments. * Assess energy efficiency, equipment performance, and systems reliability to identify areas for improvement and optimize operations. * Scrutinize engineering documents, project plans, maintenance records, and operational data to validate accuracy and completeness. * Evaluate contractor performance and electrical work quality against contractual technical standards and requirements. * Identify and mitigate internal control weaknesses, electrical deficiencies, safety hazards, and operational risks through proactive analysis and recommendation of corrective actions. * Develop technical reports and contribute to the formulation of audit findings and recommendations to inform business decisions. * Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, maintenance, and compliance, to implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement.
