Assistant Engineer- Civil (Internal Audit)

• Lead comprehensive audits of civil infrastructure, structural elements, and construction projects across multiple sites and business units to ensure adherence to industry standards. • Drive compliance with regulatory requirements, building codes, and safety protocols by verifying alignment with approved drawings, BOQs, and construction standards. • Architect audit plans and technical checklists to guarantee thorough assessments of civil engineering projects and identify areas for improvement. • Assess construction quality, material usage, and workmanship to ensure structural integrity and adherence to technical specifications. • Analyze project documentation, including engineering drawings, schedules, and site records, to validate accuracy and completeness. • Evaluate contractor performance and civil works quality against contractual requirements and technical specifications to identify areas for enhancement. • Identify and mitigate operational risks, construction defects, and safety hazards by implementing corrective actions and recommending process improvements. • Develop technical reports and provide actionable insights to inform audit findings and recommendations, driving business growth and compliance. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, maintenance, and compliance, to implement corrective actions and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
