Key Responsibilities
* Spearhead the development of critical legal documents, including plaints, petitions, and notices, to drive effective litigation outcomes.
* Lead the filing and contesting of suits and cases on behalf of the Bank, ensuring timely and strategic action.
* Drive deposition processes in court, supporting submissions with thorough documentation and ensuring seamless collaboration with conducting lawyers.
* Foster strong relationships with external lawyers and internal stakeholders to facilitate efficient case management and deposition.
* Architect and implement strategies for swift and effective case disposal, ensuring alignment with Division Head and Chief Legal Officer approvals.
* Coordinate and manage cases filed against the Bank across various courts, including Labour Court, to minimize risk and optimize outcomes.
* Expedite the obtaining of certificates under relevant sections of the Artha Rin Adalat Ain, 2003, to support litigation processes.
* Develop and analyze comprehensive reports, briefs, and credit summaries to inform litigation strategies and support lawyer preparations.
* Represent the Bank in Artha Rin suits and NI Act cases, driving successful outcomes as a plaintiff or complainant.
* Manage delinquent account reviews and collaborate with appointed lawyers and law firms to advance litigation-related activities.
* Design and present progress reports on pending suits and cases to the Bank's Management, Board, and Bangladesh Bank, ensuring transparency and accountability.
* Oversee case management for Foreign Exchange, Export Finance Division, Corporate and Large Loan, and other banking operations, ensuring seamless integration with legal processes.

Additional Requirements
- Enrollment with Bangladesh Bar Council as an Advocate
- Practical chamber experience
- Ability to draft and vet plaints/complaints
- Experience in representing the Bank as plaintiff/complainant
- Ability to prepare and present statements/progress reports
- Capability in monitoring and supervising case progress
- Expertise in handling criminal cases
