Key Responsibilities
* Drive strategic production planning, aligning with shipment commitments and business objectives to achieve operational excellence.
* Architect and execute monthly, weekly, and daily production plans for woven garment operations, ensuring seamless coordination and optimal resource utilization.
* Optimize line loading and capacity utilization by analyzing order volume, SMV, manpower, and machine availability to maximize efficiency.
* Forecast production capacity, identifying constraints to inform order booking decisions and mitigate potential bottlenecks.
* Spearhead production coordination, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure raw material readiness, monitor production flow, and resolve operational challenges proactively.
* Manage shipment and delivery operations, aligning production plans with buyer schedules and priorities, and taking corrective actions to minimize delays.
* Lead and develop a high-performing production planning team, setting departmental KPIs, monitoring performance, and fostering a culture of accountability and efficiency.
* Analyze production efficiency, line performance, and factory capacity utilization to identify areas for improvement and drive productivity enhancements.
* Champion lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with IE and production teams to reduce idle time and optimize processes.
* Develop and present insightful production planning reports, shipment forecasts, and capacity reports to inform strategic decision-making and drive business growth.
* Ensure planning operations comply with buyer requirements, company policies, and compliance standards, while continuously improving SOPs and processes to drive excellence.
* Provide regular updates to top management on production risks, delivery status, and factory performance, enabling data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
