Key Responsibilities
* Architect and optimize the organization's cost structure and budgeting process to drive financial discipline, efficient resource utilization, and strategic business objective alignment.
* Drive budget planning and development by leading the preparation of annual, mid-term, and rolling budgets, and coordinating with business units to consolidate functional budgets.
* Spearhead cost management and control by establishing and enforcing cost control policies, monitoring actual costs, and identifying areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvement.
* Deliver financial analysis and reporting by providing regular budget performance and cost variance reports, conducting trend and scenario analysis, and presenting financial insights to senior management.
* Provide strategic support and advisory services by acting as a financial advisor to business heads, supporting pricing strategies and investment decisions, and assessing the financial feasibility of new projects.
* Ensure governance, compliance, and risk management by enforcing internal policies, accounting standards, and regulations, and identifying financial risks related to cost escalation or budget gaps.
* Champion process improvement and systems enhancement by automating budgeting and cost management processes, implementing ERP and budgeting tools, and promoting best practices in financial planning.
* Foster stakeholder and cross-functional coordination by working closely with various teams, resolving budget conflicts, and promoting cost consciousness across the organization.
* Lead and manage high-performing teams by setting team KPIs, mentoring and developing team members, and building a culture of compliance, analysis, and succession planning.
