Key Responsibilities
* Drive trade business growth by originating new opportunities, increasing Non-Funded Income (NFI), and developing innovative trade solutions for corporate clients in collaboration with the Corporate Relationship Team, trade operations, and other stakeholders.
* Foster strong relationships with customers to identify trade business opportunities, such as incremental export contracts, onboarding new buyers, and offering customized solutions from existing product portfolios.
* Build trust with clients as their primary point of contact for trade transactions, ensuring seamless execution and optimal utilization of trade limits.
* Monitor trade volumes monthly to track performance and identify areas for improvement, providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
* Analyze trade services to pinpoint trouble points and propose remedial measures to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
* Collaborate with Relationship Managers to advise on pipeline deals, facilitate necessary facility arrangements, and drive business growth.
* Conduct wallet exercises for customers, their groups, and partner banks to identify opportunities for growth and assist Asset Relationship Managers in expanding their portfolios.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with allocated customers through regular communication, working closely with Relationship Managers as needed.
* Pursue inorganic growth strategies by offering diversified trade products, developing customized solutions, and exploring new business opportunities.
* Support the Transaction Banking team in providing tailored solutions for assigned clients, driving business expansion and customer satisfaction.
* Work closely with Relationship Managers and trade operations to identify requirements and develop key performance metrics and reports, such as Management Information Systems (MIS).
* Focus on growing the Buying House business portfolio, driving revenue growth and market share expansion.
* Deliver exceptional performance, measured against established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), to contribute to the bank's overall success and growth.
