Key Responsibilities
* Drive the development and implementation of Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning (MERL) systems, frameworks, and tools to enhance program effectiveness and inform strategic decision-making.
* Architect monitoring systems, research tools, and learning agendas to assess the impact of Early Childhood Development (ECD) interventions.
* Ensure the integrity of data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting across all project locations, leveraging technology to streamline processes and facilitate real-time data tracking.
* Spearhead the integration of Management Information Systems (MIS) with MERL systems to enable data-driven decision-making.
* Conduct Data Quality Assessments (DQA) to uphold data quality standards and ensure adherence to best practices.
* Lead comprehensive evaluation studies, including baseline, midline, endline, and impact assessments, in collaboration with partners and stakeholders.
* Develop and disseminate analytical reports, dashboards, and evidence products to inform management decisions and donor engagement.
* Facilitate learning workshops, reflection sessions, and adaptive programming processes to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
* Establish and maintain accountability mechanisms, including beneficiary feedback systems, to ensure transparency and responsiveness.
* Provide technical guidance and capacity building to field teams on MERL tools, methodologies, and best practices.
* Uphold safeguarding and ethical standards in all data collection and research activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of participants and team members.
* Foster collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including donors, research partners, and MEAL teams, to advance program goals and objectives.
* Contribute to proposal development, reporting, and strategic planning, leveraging MERL expertise to inform program design and implementation.
* Champion safeguarding implementation, promoting awareness, reporting procedures, and safe working environments to prevent harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation.
* Embed safeguarding standards into all aspects of program design and implementation, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all participants and team members.
