Key Responsibilities
* Drive the development and maintenance of cutting-edge MIS platforms to streamline data collection, storage, and reporting, leveraging tools like KoBo, ODK, and CommCare.
* Architect and refine digital data collection tools and forms to align with programme indicators and reporting requirements, ensuring seamless data integration.
* Manage data entry, synchronization, and validation processes across all programme sites, ensuring timely and accurate data availability.
* Lead data quality assurance efforts, performing regular data cleaning, verification, and consistency checks to maintain data integrity.
* Integrate MIS systems with MERL frameworks and reporting systems, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
* Generate insightful datasets, summaries, dashboards, and reports to inform programme teams and management, driving data-informed strategies.
* Deliver technical support and training to field teams on data collection tools, devices, and troubleshooting, ensuring optimal MIS tool utilization.
* Conduct field visits to monitor MIS tool adoption, provide guidance, and ensure adherence to data protocols and best practices.
* Safeguard database systems, ensuring secure storage, backup, and confidentiality of sensitive data, and maintaining the highest standards of data protection.
* Collaborate on the development of automated reporting systems and data visualization tools, enhancing data analysis and presentation capabilities.
* Support comprehensive data management processes, including baseline, midline, and endline data management, to facilitate programme evaluation and improvement.
* Foster cross-functional collaboration with MERL and programme teams to ensure data alignment and reporting requirements are met, promoting a cohesive programme strategy.
* Develop and maintain system documentation, user guides, and MIS processes, ensuring knowledge sharing and continuity.
* Design and deliver training and orientation programmes for staff on MIS tools and digital data collection systems, promoting digital literacy and capacity building.
* Champion safeguarding, data protection, and ethical data management practices, adhering to organizational policies and procedures, and promoting a culture of responsibility and accountability.

- Skilled in data management, reporting, troubleshooting, and communication
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination abilities with attention to detail
- Proficient in computer applications and adaptable to field-based work
