Key Responsibilities
* Drive the design and development of innovative capacity building systems, ensuring high-quality, inclusive, and contextually relevant training and learning approaches to enhance staff capacity in delivering play-based Early Childhood Development (ECD) interventions.
* Architect training frameworks, modules, manuals, and learning tools that align with programme objectives, incorporating adult learning principles, participatory approaches, and experiential methodologies.
* Deliver technical guidance and supervision to Project Officers on training delivery and capacity strengthening activities, ensuring quality and consistency across programme sites.
* Develop and refine training content on key thematic areas, including play-based learning, responsive caregiving, inclusion (SEND), safeguarding, and MHPSS, to strengthen staff capacity and promote best practices.
* Facilitate the planning and delivery of Training of Trainers (ToT), refresher trainings, orientations, and on-the-job coaching, leveraging expertise to enhance training effectiveness.
* Manage continuous professional development systems, including mentoring, coaching, and supportive supervision, to foster a culture of ongoing learning and growth.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including MERL, Materials Development, QA, and technical teams, to ensure training aligns with programme design and field needs, driving innovation and excellence.
* Evaluate the effectiveness of training interventions through assessments, feedback, and performance tracking, incorporating lessons learned to inform training improvements.
* Strengthen capacity building initiatives for partners and community-based facilitators, ensuring inclusive and accessible training approaches that cater to diverse learning needs.
* Coordinate with technical teams and external experts to ensure quality assurance and innovation in training, maintaining proper documentation of training materials, reports, and capacity building activities.
* Champion safeguarding practices, ensuring the safety and well-being of programme participants, team members, and partners, and promoting a culture of respect, inclusivity, and accountability.
* Embed safeguarding standards into all aspects of capacity building, providing guidance, support, and expertise to establish a safe working environment and prevent harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation.
