Manager - Customs & Bond Activities

* Spearhead customs and bond operations, driving compliance with government regulations and ensuring seamless execution of all related activities. * Oversee the administration of bond licenses, UD, documentation, and customs records, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements. * Foster strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including Customs, Bond Commissionerate, EPB, Freight Forwarders, and C&F agents, to facilitate efficient customs procedures. * Expedite import and export documentation processing, ensuring timely completion and minimizing delays. * Develop and submit precise customs and bond reports, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions. * Architect and implement effective HS code classification, duty structure, and customs compliance frameworks to mitigate risks and optimize operations. * Lead audit preparedness, maintaining meticulous documentation and ensuring readiness for inspections and regulatory scrutiny. * Facilitate cross-functional communication, keeping internal departments informed about shipment and customs status to ensure alignment and coordination. * Champion compliance with Bangladesh Customs regulations and bonded warehouse rules, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations. * Troubleshoot and resolve customs-related issues promptly, leveraging expertise and negotiation skills to prevent shipment delays and minimize business impact.
