Key Responsibilities

* Drive cash management strategies to ensure maximum control and security, supporting the Project Finance Manager in forecasting monthly treasury and planning to meet daily needs. * Oversee supplier payments, maintaining meticulous documentation and notifying the Administration Manager of any discrepancies. * Architect and execute comprehensive accounting tasks, including data classification, preparation, and filing in accounting software to guarantee stringent expenditure control and reliable financial statements. * Lead the tracking of expiring rental contracts, alerting the Administration Manager to facilitate timely renewals or alternative arrangements. * Facilitate staff access to administrative information, support the Project Finance Manager in document translation, and provide meeting assistance as needed. * Provide administrative support to the hospital team, ensuring seamless operations and addressing tasks delegated by the Project Finance Manager. * Ensure the availability and validity of critical documents, including invoices, contracts, and quotations, adhering to organizational policies and procedures. * Manage and monitor cheque payments, bank transfers, and transaction recording, verifying that all necessary documentation and authorizations are in place. * Collaborate on salary payment preparation, adhering to LRS and CBTM requirements. * Calculate and record taxes, such as VAT and AIT, on cheque and bank payments, maintaining accurate payables in the accounting system. * Perform monthly account reconciliations, manage bank statements, and prepare monthly bookkeeping reports for coordination. * Assist with food pot calculation, including expat subaccount contributions and entry booking. * Provide backup support to the Project Finance Manager during absences. * Develop and submit monthly money requests in collaboration with the Project Finance Manager. * Execute e-TDS and VAT payments, posting extracted amounts to the government portal and clearing organizational liabilities. * Prepare and submit compliance reports to the IST audit team, including challans and tax payments. * Generate internal reports on LRS medical reimbursement, mid-month/monthly UF reports, and contract tracking, identifying and addressing corrections as needed. * Manage contract agreements, printing and archiving documents on legal paper to maintain organizational records.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Master's degree in a similar discipline

Additional Requirements

  • English and Bangla Language
  • Chittagongian Dialect
  • Computer literacy (word, excel, internet)
  • Knowledge in accounting software/ERPs (preferable Unifield)
