Assistant Manager - Knit Fabric Dyeing

* Drive daily production plans to ensure timely delivery of high-quality dyed fabric, meeting customer expectations and deadlines. * Lead the shade matching process, ensuring seamless lab-to-bulk transfer and minimizing re-dyeing or shading issues to achieve first-time-right results. * Architect and optimize dyeing processes for various knit structures, adjusting cycles and chemical dosing to achieve maximum efficiency and quality. * Manage chemical usage, ensuring cost control, environmental sustainability, and adherence to regulatory standards. * Enforce strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for chemical handling, machine operation, and safety protocols among technicians and operators. * Monitor and maintain fabric integrity, ensuring physical properties meet buyer specifications and industry standards. * Champion a culture of compliance, maintaining a safe and clean working environment that meets EHS and chemical restriction guidelines. * Identify and implement opportunities to reduce water, steam, and chemical wastage, driving sustainability and profitability on the factory floor. * Collaborate with the maintenance department to coordinate preventive machine upkeep, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal performance. * Develop and deliver key performance reports, including daily production, RFT percentage, and chemical consumption, to inform senior management decisions. * Spearhead special projects and tasks as assigned by management, driving continuous improvement and excellence in the Knit Fabric Dyeing Department.
