Key Responsibilities
* Drive the design, implementation, and monitoring of technical components of the U4Q project, focusing on maternal and newborn healthcare quality improvement.
* Architect and execute MNCH quality improvement interventions, ensuring alignment with national standards and the Manyata Model.
* Provide technical oversight for facility selection, clinical training, mentorship, and supportive supervision systems to enhance healthcare quality.
* Establish and strengthen Quality Improvement Teams (QITs) and facilitate the adaptation of national Maternal Neonatal Child Health care quality standards.
* Lead the implementation and strengthening of the Maternal and Perinatal Death Surveillance and Response (MPDSR) mechanism in selected healthcare facilities.
* Champion quality improvement, assessment, and certification efforts, ensuring compliance with set standards of MNCAH care and supporting technical working groups for certification decisions.
* Develop and implement strategies to support healthcare workforce adherence to standard-based protocols and achieve quality benchmarks for MNCAH care.
* Manage the implementation of assessments, including primary, mid-line, end-line, and client satisfaction evaluations, to generate evidence for continuous quality improvement.
* Foster the development and implementation of standard quality improvement tools across selected facilities, driving data-driven decision-making.
* Spearhead the strengthening of MNCAH Quality of Care indicators within national Management Information Systems (MIS).
* Oversee data collection, analysis, and utilization, promoting digital innovation and data-driven quality improvement.
* Develop and roll out training curricula and tools, supervising and mentoring healthcare professionals to enhance their capacity and skills.
* Collaborate with government stakeholders, professional bodies, and private healthcare facilities to ensure effective implementation, policy alignment, and sustainability of project outcomes.
