Key Responsibilities
* Drive project implementation by coordinating daily activities, ensuring timely execution of planned initiatives, and maintaining strong relationships with technical teams, health facilities, government stakeholders, and partners.
* Spearhead program coordination and implementation support by developing and executing project work plans, organizing inception activities, and facilitating stakeholder consultations and program launches.
* Facilitate technical interventions by organizing facility selection processes, coordinating logistics for clinical training and mentoring visits, and supporting the establishment and functioning of Quality Improvement Teams (QITs).
* Lead quality improvement and facility monitoring efforts by tracking facility compliance with maternal and newborn healthcare quality standards, organizing facility assessments, and facilitating implementation of Maternal and Perinatal Death Surveillance and Response (MPDSR) activities.
* Manage data collection, monitoring, and reporting by coordinating data gathering for assessments, ensuring timely compilation and submission of field data and reports, and supporting data validation, analysis, and dashboard updates.
* Architect training and capacity-building initiatives by organizing logistics for training sessions and workshops, coordinating with trainers and participants, and maintaining training records and follow-up actions.
* Foster stakeholder engagement and communication by maintaining regular dialogue with key stakeholders, supporting Technical Working Group meetings, and assisting in organizing stakeholder consultations and events.
* Oversee project monitoring and evaluation by tracking progress, identifying implementation challenges, and developing solutions to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive records and reports, including progress reports, meeting notes, and presentations, to ensure transparency and accountability.
Requirements
Experience
At least 3 years
Skills
Basic understanding of MNCAH quality of care standards and facility-based interventionsFamiliarity with data collection tools, MIS systems, and reporting processesProficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Strong organizational and coordination skillsStrong teamwork and coordination skillsGood communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesProblem-solving mindset with attention to detail
Education
- MBBS
- Post Graduation Training in Gynae and Obs
- Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH)
Additional Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in MNCAH, quality improvement, or health program coordination
- Experience working with government health systems and/or development partners
- Experience in field-level program implementation
