Key Responsibilities

* Spearhead comprehensive procurement and supply chain operations for hospital and healthcare-related goods and services, driving strategic sourcing and cost-effective purchasing. * Architect and execute procurement plans for CAPEX equipment, medical consumables, laboratory items, and general hospital supplies, ensuring seamless delivery and compliance with organizational policies. * Lead the sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and procurement process, navigating complex donor and audit requirements while maintaining meticulous documentation and record-keeping. * Drive contract management, Service Level Agreements (SLA), and vendor performance monitoring, fostering strong supplier relationships and ensuring uninterrupted hospital operations. * Oversee import and customs clearance activities, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely delivery and regulatory compliance. * Develop and maintain robust relationships with internal departments, vendors, and management, providing exceptional customer service and stakeholder communication. * Ensure adherence to audit requirements, procurement policies, and inventory control procedures, leveraging SAP/ERP systems and reporting tools to generate insightful procurement and supply chain reports. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including biomedical, engineering, pharmacy, and clinical teams, to drive technical evaluation and procurement planning. * Monitor market trends, pricing, and supplier performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. * Provide critical support for emergency procurement requirements and hospital operational needs, ensuring service continuity and operational efficiency. * Maintain accurate order management, tracking, and delivery follow-up, coordinating with end-users to ensure seamless hospital operations. * Master's degree in Supply Chain Management (SCM), Electrical/Electronic Engineering (EEE), Biomedical, ICT, or a related discipline from a recognized university, with a strong preference for candidates with an SCM background.

Education

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management

Additional Requirements

  • Solid knowledge of medical equipment, medical consumables, CAPEX procurement, import procedures, and contract management
  • Hands-on experience with SAP/ERP systems, reporting, inventory coordination, and audit compliance
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills
  • Proven experience in order management, customer service, and multi-department coordination
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage critical operational timelines effectively
