Key Responsibilities
* Deliver expert medical care to employees, addressing general health concerns and work-related illnesses through comprehensive consultations and treatments.
* Spearhead emergency response efforts, providing timely first aid and medical support in critical situations.
* Drive occupational health and hygiene initiatives, monitoring workplace conditions to ensure adherence to stringent standards.
* Architect personalized treatment plans, prescribing medications and meticulously maintaining patient records.
* Lead medical center operations, overseeing support staff and ensuring seamless delivery of medical services.
* Manage medical inventory, procuring and maintaining adequate stocks of medicines, equipment, and supplies.
* Champion employee wellness through engaging health awareness sessions, focusing on nutrition, hygiene, and occupational safety best practices.
* Coordinate comprehensive health programs, including employee checkups, vaccination drives, and medical campaigns.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, reports, and health-related management information systems.
* Ensure unwavering compliance with labor laws, buyer requirements, and workplace health standards, mitigating potential risks.
* Foster collaborative relationships with HR, Compliance, and Admin departments to address employee health concerns and drive business outcomes.
* Support thorough accident investigations and workplace injury reporting, facilitating prompt and effective response measures.
* Facilitate referrals to specialized healthcare providers or hospitals when necessary, ensuring employees receive optimal care.
* Guarantee the medical center's facilities are clean, well-maintained, and operationally ready to deliver exceptional patient care.
* Participate in audits and assessments, ensuring the organization meets stringent health, safety, and compliance requirements.

Additional Requirements
- Only Female
- BMDC registration
- Relevant certifications in Occupational Health, Public Health, or Industrial Health
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in medical practice
- Experience working in EPZ-based factories
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and workplace medical practices
- Excellent communication, counseling, and reporting skills
- Ability to handle emergency cases with sound judgment and calmness
- Knowledge of labor law-related medical requirements, BEPZA regulations, and compliance issues
- Computer literacy (MS Office, basic reporting software)
- Proactive, empathetic, and detail-oriented with a service mindset
