Key Responsibilities
* Drive the development of cost-effective and efficient budgets, leading the process and sharing with project staff to ensure alignment and transparency.
* Champion the implementation of SKS Foundation's financial and administrative policies, ensuring compliance and adherence to established manuals and guidelines.
* Conduct field visits to monitor and verify financial expenses, tracking approved budgets and providing guidance to project management and field staff to maintain effective internal controls.
* Architect and prepare quarterly and annual budgets, as well as fund requests, in accordance with guidelines and deadlines, ensuring timely submission to Save the Children.
* Manage financial reporting, ensuring timely and accurate submissions to Save the Children and donor agencies, and maintaining up-to-date and transparent financial records.
* Oversee the preservation of financial documents and staff information, ensuring adequate storage and security throughout the contract period.
* Coordinate with external audit teams to facilitate financial audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Develop and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, adhering to project guidelines and deadlines.
* Ensure compliance with Save the Children's guidelines and regulations, providing guidance to Assistant Finance and Admin Officers on financial management best practices.
* Collaborate with Save the Children's finance counterpart to drive financial management decisions and activities, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
* Guide the procurement committee in following SKS Foundation's procurement policy, preserving relevant documents, and ensuring inventory management of project assets, furniture, and fixtures.
* Supervise administrative issues, support staff, and project office operations, ensuring seamless execution and compliance with established policies.
* Develop and implement effective security plans, protecting project assets, properties, and staff, and arranging regular visits from UHFWC for stock and medicine register cross-checks.

Education
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
- Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting
- Master of Business Studies (MBS) in Accounting

- Experienced and skilled in budget control, expenditure and procurement
- Experienced and skilled in book keeping
- Experienced and skilled in banking
- Experienced and skilled in inventory management
- Experienced and skilled in logistical support
- Experienced and skilled in VAT/Tax
- Experienced and skilled in financial reporting and documentation
- Computer (MS Office) skill is essential
- Familiar with Tally and/or other accounting software
- Good understanding on financial management basic principles and rules
- Experience in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and statements
- Maintaining cash book, ledgers and different registers related to accounts management
