Key Responsibilities

* Spearhead the development of Upazila and Union-level community mobilization plans, aligning with project objectives and budgetary constraints. * Drive community awareness initiatives, including courtyard sessions, community meetings, and youth forums, to promote maternal and newborn health. * Facilitate community-level sessions, providing support to Field Officers and Community Influencers to ensure effective program delivery. * Oversee timely and high-quality implementation of field activities in target unions, ensuring seamless execution and maximum impact. * Foster and maintain strategic relationships with community leaders, religious leaders, and local stakeholders to leverage support for project objectives. * Coach and mentor Field Officers, Community Influencers, and other field staff to enhance performance and achieve project goals. * Manage staff work plans, attendance, and time sheets, ensuring timely submission and sharing with the Project Coordinator. * Ensure staff field movements are results-driven and aligned with project objectives. * Administer financial and administrative activities related to community mobilization, adhering to SKS Foundation and SCI guidelines. * Collaborate with local administration, health officials, and stakeholders to ensure coordinated efforts and maximize project impact. * Develop and maintain effective partnerships with existing committees and community groups to ensure project sustainability and community ownership. * Participate in MNH-related coordination meetings at Upazila and Union levels, providing input and expertise to inform decision-making. * Monitor field activities, ensuring proper use of data collection tools and accurate reporting. * Document project best practices, success stories, challenges, and lessons learned, informing future planning and improvement. * Provide regular progress updates to the Project Coordinator, enabling timely guidance and informed decision-making. * Ensure strict adherence to the organization's Child Safeguarding and Gender policies across all project implementation levels. * Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for children, adolescents, and marginalized mothers in community mobilization activities. * Educate Community Influencers, Field Officers, and project stakeholders on Child Safeguarding and Gender sensitivity, integrating these principles into project activities. * Establish community feedback mechanisms, promoting accountability and transparency in project implementation.

  • Master's in any discipline
  • Master in Public Health (MPH)

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with I/NGO on health focused project implementation
  • At least 3 years in project management and supervisory role
  • Proven ability to lead and supervise field teams
  • Strong knowledge of Maternal and Newborn Health issues in Bangladesh
  • Hands-on experience in health-focused programs
  • Strong communication and report writing skills in both English and Bangla
  • Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office and internet use
  • Willingness and ability to ride a motorcycle with having a valid driving license
