Key Responsibilities
* Drive patient-centric nutrition services by assessing and delivering personalized diet plans to inpatients, aligning with physicians' instructions and individual patient needs.
* Lead daily reviews of diet orders for all admitted patients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to medical requirements.
* Conduct daily assessments of newly admitted patients to determine dietary needs and update diet control sheets and Hospital Management Systems accordingly.
* Develop and implement tailored dietary recommendations, educating patients with diet-related disorders on healthier eating habits to improve overall well-being.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including doctors and nurses, to identify patients' nutrition needs and dietary limitations, informing evidence-based care plans.
* Architect patient and family education programs, focusing on nutrition, diet plans, and food selection to empower informed decision-making.
* Monitor patient responses to diets, evaluating compliance and progress, and providing ongoing guidance and support.
* Inspect kitchen-prepared meals to ensure nutritional standards, presentation, and quality, driving continuous improvement.
* Deliver expert diet counseling to patients and their families, addressing specific needs and concerns.
* Manage and supervise new staff members, providing training and mentorship to ensure seamless integration and high-quality service delivery.
* Oversee meal planning, preparation, and service, ensuring alignment with patient needs, nutritional standards, and hospital policies.
* Analyze patient feedback, preferences, and demands, providing actionable insights to inform menu modifications and service enhancements.
* Foster a culture of safety, cleanliness, and compliance, adhering to BSH's policies and procedures related to Health, Hygiene, and Fire Safety.
* Participate in ongoing training and development, staying up-to-date on food safety, health hygiene, emergency codes, infection control, and evacuation procedures.
* Maintain professional standards, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in patient care, service delivery, and personal grooming.
* Embrace adaptability, responding to changing management decisions and priorities, and performing additional tasks as required by the department.

- Bachelor/Honors
- Masters / Graduation in Food & Nutrition or equivalent dept.
