Key Responsibilities

* Spearhead daily garment finishing operations, encompassing trimming, ironing, inspection, folding, and packing to drive efficiency and quality. * Drive productivity and output achievement by closely monitoring finishing operations and implementing data-driven improvements. * Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality, IE, and Planning, to ensure seamless finishing workflows and optimal results. * Architect and enforce standardized packing methods, carton assortment, and shipment preparation to meet buyer requirements and industry standards. * Analyze key performance indicators, such as DHU, RFT, rejection, and rework rates, to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. * Lead the finishing team to meet shipment schedules, ensuring timely output and minimizing delays. * Identify and address finishing defects, implementing proactive measures to prevent future occurrences and maintain high-quality standards. * Develop and implement protocols for proper garment handling, minimizing stains, damages, and shade variation to ensure customer satisfaction. * Optimize manpower utilization and maintain a disciplined work environment, promoting a culture of efficiency and productivity. * Champion the adoption of lean tools, such as 5S and Kaizen, to drive process improvements and enhance operational excellence. * Ensure strict compliance with buyer requirements, SOPs, and quality procedures, conducting regular audits and implementing corrective actions as needed. * Mentor and train finishing operators and supervisors to enhance performance, knowledge, and skills, driving continuous improvement. * Develop and execute shipment plans, aligning with PO ETD and production schedules to meet customer demands and expectations. * Manage packing lists, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of every PO, and adjust leftover accessories to minimize waste and optimize resources. * Balance line layouts according to available manpower, maximizing efficiency and productivity. * Review hourly production reports to inform data-driven decisions, drive production improvements, and achieve daily targets. * Conduct thorough reviews of rejected garments, rectifying issues and implementing preventive measures to maintain high-quality standards. * Monitor daily attendance reports, ensuring accurate tracking and management of worker and staff attendance.

  • Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Diploma in related discipline
