* Spearhead the design and development of handicraft products, leveraging Rohingya artisans' traditional skills to create innovative, market-driven, and culturally relevant items that drive commercial success. * Drive product innovation by integrating Rohingya cultural artistry with contemporary market trends, conducting research on seasonal trends, production innovations, and market demand to inform design decisions. * Architect and prototype new designs in collaboration with the production team, ensuring cost-effectiveness, feasibility, and alignment with production capacity and sales objectives. * Develop and maintain design archives, version control of samples, and product development documentation to ensure seamless knowledge sharing and continuity. * Deliver hands-on design guidance and training to Bangladeshi trainers and Rohingya artisans, empowering them to enhance their design and production skills and strengthen their market competitiveness. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, business development, and marketing, to ensure design alignment with production capacity, sales objectives, and market trends. * Foster strategic partnerships with suppliers and vendors to source materials, techniques, and design feedback, driving continuous improvement and innovation. * Champion safeguarding practices, ensuring a safe working environment for programme participants, team members, and stakeholders, and promoting a culture of respect, integrity, and accountability. * Embed safeguarding standards into every aspect of programme design and implementation, providing guidance, support, and expertise to establish a robust safeguarding framework. * Lead by example, promoting and endorsing safeguarding policies, reporting procedures, and best practices to prevent harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation, including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA).
