* Spearhead sample processing and handling, including phlebotomy, and manage urine, sputum, and stool samples with precision. * Drive laboratory techniques such as microscopy, staining methods, culture and sensitivity testing, and biochemical assays to deliver accurate results. * Lead specialized testing in hematology, microbiology, and immunology/serology, utilizing techniques like ELISA and rapid tests. * Interpret complex results, distinguishing between normal and abnormal findings, and apply problem-solving skills to troubleshoot machine errors and unexpected outcomes. * Operate and maintain automated analyzers, microscopes, and other equipment, ensuring calibration and quality control procedures are followed. * Champion infection control, biosafety, and waste disposal protocols, adhering to standard operating procedures to guarantee a safe working environment. * Leverage laboratory information systems, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records through data entry and documentation. * Foster effective communication with medical professionals, collaborate with team members, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines while upholding professional ethics and confidentiality. * Provide administrative support and assist medical doctors as needed, ensuring seamless laboratory operations.
