Key Responsibilities

* Spearhead recruitment, talent management, and manpower planning to drive factory operations forward * Architect organizational strategies by identifying HR issues, driving strategic thinking, and aligning HR objectives with company policies * Manage HR and training activities, including succession planning, performance appraisals, and budgeting to foster a high-performing workforce * Oversee employee relations, grievance handling, and disciplinary procedures to maintain a positive and productive work environment * Foster a culture of motivation and collaboration, promoting strong relationships between workers and management * Develop and update organizational structures, standard operating procedures, and manpower plans to ensure alignment with company goals * Conduct market research to stay competitive with industry trends in wages and benefits * Ensure adherence to Bangladesh Labor Law, buyer Codes of Conduct, and company policies to maintain a compliant workplace * Maintain and update compliance-related documents, registers, and reports, and develop company policies to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements * Prepare and present compliance reports to management, providing clear and concise insights into compliance performance * Monitor and manage compliance certifications and audits, implementing corrective action plans to address audit findings and ensure sustainable compliance * Coordinate buyer audits, including WRAP, BSCI, SEDEX, and Higg Index, to ensure seamless compliance * Prioritize worker health and safety, monitoring daily issues and conducting accident investigations to identify root causes and implement preventive measures * Design and deliver training programs, including orientation, health and safety, and compliance training, to upskill employees and promote a culture of compliance * Ensure compliance with legal requirements related to leave, wages, overtime, benefits, and compensation to maintain a fair and equitable work environment * Maintain effective grievance handling and disciplinary procedures, ensuring a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace across all departments * Conduct regular factory walkthroughs to identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions, driving continuous improvement * Develop and implement training, awareness, and award programs to engage employees and promote company and buyer policies * Foster positive industrial relations among workers, factory management, and top management, promoting a culture of collaboration and respect * Coordinate with government and non-government organizations to address compliance matters and stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements * Review personnel files, payroll, and salary sheets to ensure audit readiness and compliance with employment laws and regulations * Conduct injury analysis, risk assessments, and preventive action planning to prioritize worker health and safety * Assist in developing, implementing, and reviewing company policies, rules, and regulations to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations * Ensure the factory meets structural, social, ethical, health, and electrical and fire safety requirements, maintaining good communications with buyers, third parties, and regulatory bodies * Identify non-compliance issues through daily monitoring and implement corrective actions to maintain a compliant workplace

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management
  • Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Human Resource Management

Additional Requirements

  • Only Male
  • Solid hands-on experience in the Garments, Garments Accessories, Textile industry
  • Strong understanding of Bangladesh Labor Law, HR best practices, and EHS standards
  • Excellent English communication (written & speaking) and presentation skills
  • Strong ability to lead, motivate subordinates, and work independently under pressure
