Key Responsibilities

* Drive organizational development and management initiatives to achieve programme objectives and team agreements, ensuring alignment with GIZ rules and regulations. * Deliver professional advisory services to diverse target groups, fostering cooperation and collaboration to advance project/programme goals. * Provide strategic guidance to supervisors on project planning, steering, and monitoring, ensuring effective implementation and compliance with GIZ standards. * Independently execute goals and requirements set by line managers, making informed decisions that drive short-term results within designated project areas. * Identify and resolve day-to-day problems, developing and implementing tailored solutions to optimize project outcomes. * Spearhead the implementation of activities targeting community-level volunteers in the ready-made garments sector, ensuring seamless execution and impact. * Architect and facilitate steering committee meetings with NGOs/INGOs, driving thematic discussions and strategic planning. * Strengthen referral services for Gender-Based Violence and discriminatory experiences, connecting individuals with legal aid, psychosocial support, and other vital resources. * Develop and execute campaigns across social media and other channels, promoting prevention and access to information on critical issues. * Offer expert insights on regulatory developments related to Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence, ensuring meaningful stakeholder consultation and compliance. * Lead the implementation of organizational development initiatives for referral services, driving growth and improvement. * Manage documentation of expenses, results, and reporting inputs, ensuring transparency and accountability to donors. * Foster connections with key stakeholders to develop a comprehensive exit strategy, enabling sustainable continuation of work processes and long-term impact.

Education

  • Master of Social Science (MSS)
  • Master of Science (MSc)
  • Masters in Engineering, Economics, Social Science, Legal Studies or any other closely related field.

Additional Requirements

  • 5 years in relevant occupational experience with at least 3 years in project implementation
  • Experience with engaging directly with rightsholders, workers organizations or local communities.
  • Experience in communication with authorities or representing a company or organization to external stakeholders.
  • Expertise in strategic marketing and communications.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and a strong team player
  • Ability to work in an intercultural environment and be a strong team player in a diverse and interdisciplinary team
  • Must have good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, hands-on experience with digital data systems, and familiarity with various communication tools and modern IT systems.
  • Fluency in Bangla and English is essential.
  • Familiarity with development cooperation, bilateral or multilateral organizations.
