Key Responsibilities
* Spearhead beneficiary identification efforts, utilizing standardized tools to support the project team in selecting trainees and driving program success.
* Conduct thorough market scans to identify in-demand trades, collaborating with local stakeholders to validate trade selections and inform project decisions.
* Identify and promote non-traditional trade opportunities that can provide female trainees with valuable skills and employment prospects.
* Foster strong relationships with local stakeholders, including community leaders, businesses, and organizations, to ensure project relevance and effectiveness.
* Drive the development of alternative education and entrepreneurship programs, focusing on the needs of rural youth, particularly young women, who are Not in Education, Employment, or Training (NEET).
* Lead the implementation of project activities at the Upazila level, ensuring timely and effective delivery of program components, including skills development, employment, and marketing support.
* Manage and maintain accurate records of project activities, including beneficiary data, market scans, and trade selections, to inform project monitoring and evaluation.
* Collaborate with the project team to design and deliver training programs that address the needs of rural youth, promoting economic acceleration and resilience in the region.
* Facilitate community engagement and participation in project activities, ensuring that the voices and perspectives of rural youth, particularly young women, are heard and integrated into project decision-making.
* Ensure that all project activities are aligned with PRANTIC's values and principles, upholding human dignity and inclusion for all, regardless of age, race, religion, gender, disability, ethnic origin, or socio-economic condition.
Requirements
Experience
At least 5 years
Education
- Bachelor/Honors
- Graduate/post Graduate degree
Additional Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as Upazila level focal
- Minimum recent 3 years’ experience in Skill development, Employment Generation, TVET
