Key Responsibilities

* Spearhead HR operations, driving compliance with the Bangladesh Labor Act 2006 and overseeing overall factory operations to ensure seamless execution. * Architect and implement effective HR policies, aligning with buyer requirements and labor laws, to foster a productive and compliant work environment. * Drive organizational excellence by developing, communicating, and enforcing service rules, policies, and procedures that reflect company values and promote employee engagement. * Lead recruitment, training, and development initiatives, designing efficient job descriptions, counseling programs, and orientation processes to optimize workforce performance. * Manage performance metrics, conducting fair and timely appraisals, promotions, and salary reviews to ensure equitable compensation and benefits. * Oversee employee relations, addressing floor issues, resolving critical complaints, and implementing disciplinary actions to maintain a positive and respectful work environment. * Coordinate factory audits, ensuring readiness and compliance with buyer requirements, social, ethical, and environmental standards, and maintaining accurate documentation. * Develop and execute annual training calendars, delivering scheduled training sessions, and maintaining proper documentation to meet buyer demands and Code of Conduct requirements. * Navigate legal issues, providing expert guidance on labor law and company affairs to minimize risk and ensure regulatory compliance. * Champion special projects and assignments, driving HR initiatives and supporting management as needed to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

Experience

8 to 12 years

Education

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resource Management
  • Bachelor of Arts (BA)

Additional Requirements

  • Sound knowledge on process & procedures of certification of BWB, BRAC, WRAP, BSCI, SEDEX, C-TPAT, etc.
  • Strong knowledge in Bangladesh Labor Act 2006 and the recent amendments.
  • Highly observant and able to make timely decisions.
  • Strong negotiation and convincing skills, and the capability to address critical issues with the concerned parties.
  • Should be prompt with strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership qualities.
  • Able to work under pressure when needed.
