Structural Engineering Assistant

* Drive the analysis and design of complex structures, including buildings, roads, and bridges, under the guidance of senior leaders. * Lead the review of infrastructure designs, encompassing various materials and projects, to ensure technical accuracy and compliance. * Architect detailed structural designs using CAD software, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outputs. * Manage the development of comprehensive reports on structural analysis and design, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. * Develop and review Bills of Quantities (BoQ) to inform procurement and project management decisions. * Ensure quality construction outputs by monitoring works against specifications and requirements, and addressing any defects or issues promptly. * Conduct regular site visits to supervise civil works, identify and resolve issues, and implement corrective actions as needed. * Craft periodic project reports, covering progress, finance, quality, schedule, and technical aspects, to inform stakeholders and drive project success. * Evaluate tenders, assessing bidder qualifications, competency, and experience, and analyzing unit rates against cost estimates to ensure value for money. * Support project closure, final inspections, and acceptance processes, ensuring seamless handovers and lessons learned. * Deliver additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to team objectives.
