Key Responsibilities

* Spearhead cutting operations for knit garments production, overseeing every stage from start to finish. * Architect efficient fabric processing systems, ensuring precise relaxation, spreading, and cutting techniques. * Drive fabric optimization, analyzing marker efficiency and utilization to minimize waste and maximize yield. * Ensure precision cutting, adhering to approved markers and buyer specifications to guarantee high-quality output. * Oversee critical processes, including numbering, bundling, panel checking, and issue resolution, to maintain seamless workflow. * Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Planning, IE, Production, and Quality, to ensure synchronized operations. * Manage timely cutting inputs to sewing lines, aligning with production schedules to meet deadlines. * Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, such as cut-to-ship ratios, rejection rates, and productivity, to inform data-driven decisions. * Identify and rectify cutting-related issues, including shade variations, panel mismatches, and fabric defects, to maintain quality standards. * Implement robust inventory management systems, ensuring proper handling, segregation, and storage of fabric rolls and cut panels. * Optimize resource allocation, streamlining manpower and machine utilization to boost efficiency and productivity. * Ensure proactive maintenance and optimal utilization of cutting equipment, minimizing downtime and maximizing output. * Develop and maintain accurate records, including cutting reports, fabric consumption data, and management information systems. * Uphold stringent quality standards, adhering to buyer requirements and operational SOPs to guarantee compliance. * Champion process improvement initiatives, leveraging lean manufacturing tools like 5S and Kaizen to drive continuous enhancement. * Foster a safe, disciplined, and well-organized work environment, prioritizing workplace safety, housekeeping, and employee well-being.

  • Knowledge of CAD/marker systems and cutting machinery
  • Leadership and team management capability
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Understanding of buyer quality standards and production flow
  • Data analysis and reporting skills (MIS/Excel)
  • Communication and cross-functional coordination skills
