Key Responsibilities
* Lead a high-performing IC&C team, driving professional development and a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
* Architect clear goals and performance metrics, fostering a collaborative environment that proactively manages risk and encourages teamwork.
* Drive thorough documentation of IC&C activities, including regulatory correspondence, risk assessments, and audit responses, to ensure transparency and compliance.
* Oversee the IC&C division, ensuring adherence to core risk and comprehensive risk management guidelines set by the Bangladesh Bank, and maintaining a strong compliance framework.
* Stay abreast of laws and regulatory guidelines, ensuring the bank's compliance with relevant regulations, including AML and KYC policies, to mitigate risk and maintain a strong reputation.
* Implement robust measures to prevent fraud and reduce risk, evaluating change requests in banking applications against local regulatory guidelines to ensure alignment and compliance.
* Manage the total administration of the IC&C division, providing strategic leadership and direction to ensure effective internal control and compliance.
* Develop and submit regular compliance and risk management reports to the Audit Committee, providing insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.
* Implement and maintain the bank's AML/KYC policy, ensuring effective customer due diligence and risk-based approaches to prevent financial crime.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address audit findings, implementing corrective actions and process improvements to enhance the control environment.
* Provide expertise on risk, legal, and compliance matters, assisting management in formulating policies and operational procedures that support business objectives.
* Design and recommend security measures to prevent fraud and reduce risk, identifying opportunities for process improvements and control enhancements.
* Evaluate change requests in banking applications against local regulatory guidelines, ensuring compliance and alignment with industry standards.
* Prepare and present reports to the Executive Committee and Board, providing updates on compliance and risk management initiatives, and informing strategic decision-making.
* Ensure the bank's internal control system is adequate and effective, providing assurance that regulatory guidelines, internal policies, and procedures are being followed.

Additional Requirements
- Minimum 20 years of banking experience
- 5 years in Compliance functions including AML/CFT functions
