Assistant Executive Lighterage Jetty Operation

* Spearhead shift operations by assuming responsibility for activity status and work progress, and orchestrating the shift program to meet delivery targets for finished goods, raw materials, and assigned tasks. * Drive operational excellence by maintaining a visible presence on the floor, ensuring maximum utilization of jetty/ghat facilities, and enforcing strict adherence to BSRM standards and safety protocols. * Execute management guidelines and directives to achieve operational objectives and drive business outcomes. * Analyze and optimize vessel turnaround times, monitoring key milestones such as loading, sea travel, unloading, and hatch sealing to minimize delays and maximize efficiency. * Validate vessel statutory documents and necessary evidence, including GA plans, stability booklets, and government registration documents, to ensure compliance and safety. * Conduct thorough inspections of cargo holds, seals, and boat notes to guarantee safe berthing and prevent potential hazards. * Coordinate jetty/ghat preparation in accordance with established guidelines to ensure seamless unloading of materials. * Develop and submit regular reports (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly) on jetty/ghat utilization, providing actionable insights to inform logistics department decisions. * Monitor and evaluate overall process/production effectiveness (OPE) and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) to identify areas for improvement. * Mobilize necessary resources, including vehicles, pay loaders, cranes, and material handlers, to maintain continuous jetty/ghat operations. * Identify and address losses by conducting pareto analysis, data representation, and OEE calculations, and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize ghaat/jetty operations. * Foster collaborative relationships with transport agents, C&F agents, security teams, labor departments, and third-party surveyors to ensure smooth operations. * Escalate operational issues, such as delays or resource unavailability, to management through established channels, and provide recommendations for resolution. * Support data management, statistical research, and feasibility studies to inform business decisions and drive operational excellence.
