Asst. Manager - Wet Process - Columbia Washing Plant Ltd.

* Drive production efficiency by setting targets, optimizing resources, and streamlining workflows to minimize costs and lead times. * Architect production schedules to meet quantity targets, peak demands, and efficiency goals, ensuring seamless execution. * Oversee Wet Process production, ensuring maximum utilization of resources and minimizing waste. * Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery, special shipments, and style-wise closures, meeting deadlines and quality standards. * Manage batch preparation, including shade and weight control, to ensure accurate production and quality standards. * Lead quality control efforts, monitoring and maintaining Final Quality DHU, re-wash, and rejection percentages within approved limits. * Implement and monitor sustainable procedures for critical wash processes, such as E-flow, acid wash, and ozone wash. * Ensure accurate and timely data entry in Oracle EBS, analyzing production records, quality reports, and machine utilization to drive improvement. * Conduct monthly performance analysis, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. * Represent the company in buyer audits, ensuring compliance and quality standards. * Foster a positive work environment by addressing absenteeism, progress, disciplinary matters, and motivating staff to drive productivity. * Evaluate staff performance, identifying training needs and implementing development programs. * Champion safety, quality, and compliance initiatives, striving for zero non-conformities. * Maintain a clean, organized, and productive work site, adhering to the clean desk policy and promoting a culture of efficiency. * Take on additional responsibilities and projects as assigned, driving business growth and objectives.
