* Architect a unified corporate affairs strategy that propels Edison Ventures' vision and business objectives forward * Counsel senior leadership on navigating public policy, regulatory risks, and reputational challenges * Foster strong alliances with government ministries, regulatory bodies, industry associations, and key stakeholders as the primary point of contact * Drive legislative and regulatory insights to inform business decisions across all units * Spearhead internal and external communications, including media relations, crisis management, and brand messaging to ensure consistency and clarity * Develop and execute crisis management frameworks, leading response strategies during high-stakes situations * Champion Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives, aligning them with business values and driving measurable social impact * Lead Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, ensuring alignment with business values and global sustainability standards * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, and operations, to mitigate risks and ensure adherence to governance standards * Pioneer policy development, ensuring seamless implementation across the organization * Facilitate strategic alignment of corporate affairs initiatives with business priorities, driving growth and expansion * Oversee import and export compliance, managing registrations, certifications, and regulatory requirements * Ensure timely renewal of approvals, environmental clearances, and industrial licenses to maintain operational integrity * Provide strategic counsel to inform business expansion, aligning with national policy priorities and driving growth * Serve as the chief spokesperson during corporate crises, protecting the organization's reputation through timely and strategic communication
