Key Responsibilities
* Spearhead the transformation of the Store Department by designing and implementing a streamlined layout for optimal efficiency and productivity.
* Drive process innovations and introduce cutting-edge digital tracking systems to enhance inventory management and accuracy.
* Oversee the movement of stock between departments, ensuring seamless receiving, storing, and issuing of materials to support production and dispatch operations.
* Ensure timely availability of critical materials to prevent production delays and maintain a competitive edge.
* Develop and enforce robust control measures to prevent stock discrepancies, damages, and theft, safeguarding company assets.
* Implement best-in-class storage, labeling, and inventory management practices, including FIFO/FEFO, to maintain inventory accuracy and minimize waste.
* Maintain real-time stock visibility and accurate inventory records, enabling data-driven decision-making.
* Architect and implement inventory control strategies to prevent stock shortages, overstocking, and wastage, optimizing inventory levels and reducing costs.
* Prepare and analyze regular inventory reports to inform business decisions and drive process improvements.
* Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, internal policies, and regulatory standards, maintaining the company's reputation and integrity.
* Coordinate and prepare for internal and external audits, ensuring seamless compliance and minimizing risk.
* Conduct regular stock audits to identify and resolve discrepancies, addressing wastage and optimizing inventory levels.
* Maintain meticulous documentation, including GRN, Issue Slip, and Gate Pass, to support inventory management and compliance.
* Foster collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams, including Production, Merchandising, Commercial, and Accounts, to drive business objectives.
* Manage shipment activities, including documentation, packing, and dispatch, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
* Lead, train, and motivate store staff to achieve high levels of discipline, efficiency, and productivity, driving a culture of excellence.
* Build and maintain strategic relationships with customs authorities and stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations and compliance.
* Embrace a flexible and adaptable approach, taking on additional responsibilities as assigned by management to drive business growth and success.
