Key Responsibilities
* Drive procurement and contracting processes, ensuring alignment with programme objectives, team agreements, and superior directives.
* Deliver expert advisory services to diverse target groups, fostering cooperation and collaboration across project/programme initiatives.
* Provide strategic guidance to supervisors on GIZ rules and regulations, project planning, steering, and monitoring, ensuring seamless implementation.
* Independently execute goals and requirements set by line managers, making informed decisions with short-term impact within limited project areas/units.
* Identify and resolve day-to-day problems, proposing effective solutions to supervisors and stakeholders.
* Offer specialized support to projects on material and service procurement, developing tender documents and negotiating contracts.
* Monitor supplier performance, ensuring high-quality goods and services, and resolving issues through collaborative problem-solving.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for project and program staff, providing regular updates on procurement and customs clearance status.
* Architect and manage the entire procurement process for services and works, from initiation to contract awarding, adhering to defined thresholds and guidelines.
* Lead contract management, including amendments, in close collaboration with clusters, projects, and programmes.
* Maintain meticulous records, documents, and communication, ensuring compliance and e-filing accuracy.
* Develop sponsorship agreements, financing agreements, and local subsidy documents, tailored to project requirements.
* Oversee tendering activities, from preparation to execution, strictly adhering to GIZ's established guidelines and protocols.
* Act as a key point of contact for internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate submission of required documentation.
* Conduct periodic reviews of procurement processes, implementing improvements and updates in accordance with the latest guidelines and best practices.
* Collaborate actively with colleagues to carry out procurement department processes, ensuring seamless execution and compliance.

Education
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
- Bachelor`s degree in related fields such as Management, Business Law, or Economics

- Planning, problem-solving and independent goal implementation knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good working knowledge of IT, including MS Office Suite
